The interesting graphic design problems live where two languages have
to share a single garment. PEQUS is one of those — classical sculpture and
streetwear sharing a chest. The job is finding the line
where neither side gives way.
From the Louvre to a streetwear tee. Neither side compromised.
Graphic apparel for PEQUS across the 2021 drop. The hero piece translates the
Winged Victory of Samothrace into a wearable graphic. The work is in
the constraints — it has to live on cotton, sit right at chest-height,
and read at distance without losing the weight of the original sculpture.
